I'm heading in. Not properly equipped for what's coming plus the views just aren't there with this constant rain. I plan on returning next August to complete this and get some decent video. This is suppose to be one of the most beautiful parts of the trail and I've so far have only had two clear days since entering Washington state.

Sounds like a good call Mike. I look forward to checking out your videos and pictures as you get time to post over the coming winter. I really enjoyed following your journey; thank you. I went up to Stevens Pass last Wednesday; Hiked on the PCT 5 miles south and ran into 5 thru hikers. Bird Dog, Leaky, Moonshine, Andy, and Arron. I surprised them with 5 fresh baked apple cups I had picked up at the bakery and stuffed into my day pack. I hiked back to the Pass with them listening to their stories then loaded them into my truck and gave them a ride to Baring & Densmores' Hiker Haven. I cant help but wonder if they they made it to Steheiken. I have hiked the PCT from Steven's North and the Glacier Peak area is a real challenge even in good weather. Anyway, safe travels home..
