New Backpack

Just loaded my new GoLite backpack with full equipment load.  Weight minus food and water is 16.5 pounds which is perfect.  Has me thinking about adding the water pump.  That would bring base weight to 18 pounds.  I'll have to think about that.  I will provide a full equipment list at a later date.

Updated the Blog

I spent the morning going through my postings and correcting typo's and adding notes where I though relevant.

I have to say I have been going completely nuts after leaving the trail. In the end I was doing about twenty miles a day carrying a fifty to sixty pound pack. Going from that to doing nothing can drive you crazy. I can't wait for this winter to end. Been packing the weight back on. Unfortunate you know what I mean? The feet are feeling much better though.
