Since I actually bear bagged my food last night I thought a picture was in order. The preferred method is not to tie the bag off on a tree. Bears can figure that out and the cut the line. The PCT method you run a line through Clamp then put a stick in it so it supports the bag. The bear then has nothing to grab onto. I hope the picture came out.
Also, first good nights sleep I've had in the hammock.
A deer just jumped up and ran away as I write this. About 20 meters away. Very cool!
