I have meet quite a few people out here who have had major problems with the Merrell brand hiking shoes falling apart after one to two hundred miles. The shoes in my picture belong to Lama and started falling apart at around 175 miles. Ren said her's started coming apart at 100.
I have met several other people throughout this trip we similar experience. Please consider this when purchasing hiking shoes.
