No idea what mountain I am on. Trying for Neels Gap and maybe the Hostel there. Suppose to be a storm tonight. So far the days have been mild to hot and nights mid thirties to forties.

Hennesy Hammock
So far this thing is for the birds. It is virtually impossible to even get my poncho liner to cover me in it. The wind is blowing the rain fly all over the place. No way will that keep me dry in a storm. So much for traveling light.

What a hike to just get to the starting point! All that weight I put back on is kicking my butt. Also doesn't help not sleeping for 24hrs.
If you want to see some real characters take a Greyhound bus on a Friday night.
