Roan Knob Shelter, 6,275 feet
It's 39 degrees and very windy up here. Unfortunately mo views so here is a picture of the litter strewn shelter at the top. Some people do need a beat down. There is a road not to far from here which usually means day hikers.

Weight Check
208 pounds. Lost 17 so far. Less then expected but then again not bad considering there is beer and barbecue every two days! ;)

A bit overpriced to say the least. But got a shower and laundry is running. Beer run later. Caught up to Bam and big John.

River Cooler
Guess which ones are mine! Big shin dig here tomorrow. May slack pack twenty so I can be here for the barbecue.

And feeder river. Was 40 degrees this morning, down hear it is 92. Thought I was going to have heatstroke the last half mile. I am at a Hostel right now but don't recognize anyone from the trail. I'll post some hostel pictures later. These dudes are already partying!
